Insomnia

It is very common for people to struggle to switch off at the end of the day. If they are unable to find time to sit down and eat in a relaxed way, if they skip meals and spend too long on emails when they get in from work at night they will struggle to get a good night’s rest. They may find it hard to get off to sleep, wake early and not be able to fall back asleep or have light sleep and disturbed dreams especially if they have been through a period of intense worry, stress or emotional upheaval.
Acupuncture helps relax the mind and calm the nervous system.It can improve sleep patterns and begin to undo the exhaustion that comes from easily disturbed and poor quality sleep.
In most cases acupuncture makes a difference in a few sessions. If sleep problems are linked to other more long-term issues it may take longer.
